Every Friday, LSE turns the Quad, a lounge/café by day, into a nightclub with American pop music (didn't realize that I could not escape it even a few thousand miles away) and reasonably priced alcohol (almost all students can drink because the drinking age is 18 in the UK). I would say this venue is not for everybody (floors are sticky, it gets REALLY hot inside, the Quad is rather small), but there were a lot of people in attendance for the first Crush of the year.
